    I enjoyed your webinar, episode 69, on Mastering the Machine. I will be looking forward to the upcoming information on Automation Direct. One of my programmer friends was out of town and learned how to program on Automation Direct’s free software one night.

    I might have mentioned, I recently changed employment from the plant setting back into construction. Now I’m doing the construction with installs and support. One of the take aways from working in the plant setting is learning more about automation. I have come to enjoy it immensely. Experience wise, I’m somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I added a new motor, vfd, and control via Ethernet/IP. I asked the programmer if I can watch as he integrated it into the plc system operated with Ignition. It is a lot more complicated that I realized for all the tags and bits for communicating the information for control and alarms.

    I share this to say I have not arrived yet where I want to be, but your Automation Academy will help me get there one day.

    Thanks Matt! Automation Direct is pretty awesome stuff, the price is right and you can’t beat free software. That’s usually the platform I suggest for companies who haven’t standardized on one of the major brands.
