  Hey guys, there is a new document in the Library titled HMI001 – SCADA and HMI. It is about 90 pages and covers general SCADA and HMIs plus a detailed course on Allen-Bradley’s FactoryTalk View ME. There are 13 written exercises and the answers are also in the Library (under HMI).

  I taught this course at Nissan last week. The students were all experienced programmers, so this was kind of a “Train the Trainer” class.

  There is a ControlLogix and FactoryTalk View ME simulation program I use for these classes. It is PLC v.31 and HMI v.11, you would need equal or newer software to open the files. I don’t mind sharing it, but you would need to send me an e-mail for the latest version. It is constantly evolving.
