Any ideas on the best method to teach electrical and controls troubleshooting? I have been asked to come up with ideas for a physical trainer and an online method. For the physical trainer it’s easy to just wire up a bunch of relays, but I’d like to create a circuit that actually does something. Maybe as simple as a forward reverse motor circuit? Any other suggestions?

An update: I designed and built a decent electrical and troubleshooting trainer and am working on a Maintenance and Troubleshooting book. There is a lot of good info in it, I may break apart the sections and post them here . Let me know what kind of topic you are interested in.
